Sludge Thickening & De-watering system
Depending on sludge nature i.e. either Chemically separated or Biologically separated, we have to design the sludge management system. Majorly, the sludge treatment process is focused on separating sludge & water, for easily handling & storage of generated sludge.
Normally, the wasted sludge from treatment plants are having consisting of 0.8 to 3% depending on its origin & nature of sludge. This received sludge is then passed through thickener and de-watering system to get consisting ranging from 20 to 50% consistency. This dewatered sludge are either directly stored or sometimes thermally dried to around 75 to 80% dry depending on customer requirement.
